One writer. Ten weeks. A private room above the courtyard, a stipend, and a dedicated editor from the Content House. The season ends with a limited chapbook published as part of the Centre's Volume I imprint.

§ Curriculum

The programme, outlined.

  1. 01

    Weeks 1–2 — Reading & shape

    Close reading with your editor, an outline agreed, and the working rhythm of the season set.

  2. 02

    Weeks 3–6 — The draft

    Protected writing time. One editorial conversation a week; no other obligations.

  3. 03

    Weeks 7–8 — The edit

    Two full editorial passes — structural first, then line by line.

  4. 04

    Week 9 — The book

    Typesetting, proofs and cover with the Volume I imprint team.

  5. 05

    Week 10 — The launch

    A limited chapbook, printed and launched with a public reading on the final Saturday.
